Kontra is an engaging FPS that offers a variety of modes, including single-player zombie survival, multiplayer zombie challenges, and several competitive options such as surf, deathrun, deathmatch, and arms race. Players are tasked with selecting a zombie class to navigate through the chaos of a zombie outbreak.

Meanwhile, in Arms Race mode, participants cycle through various firearms by defeating opponents; the first player to complete the cycle secures victory.

Deathrun mode challenges teams to navigate obstacles while trying to eliminate opponents before reaching the endpoint. Lastly, Surf mode engages teams in competition based on movement skills while racing towards areas containing advanced weaponry.
